Abstract
The study included measuring the level of Hemoglobin, Haptoglobin, Haemoxin, Transferrin, and Hematocrit (Hct) for eighty six people suffering from upper respiratory tract inflammation whose isolates were diagnosed as Haemophilus infleunzae and other bacterial species, in order to compare the concentration of these proteins between Infected with Haemophilus infleunzae and other types and its relationship to anemia using ELISA and CBC technique. It was found that patients with Haemophilus infleunzae type b had a concentration of hemoglobin, haptoglobin, hemopexin, transferrin, and hematocrit lower than the normal level, and there was a significant difference between them and the people infected with other bacteria whose levels of these proteins and Hct varied, and we show that there is a relationship between infection with Haemophilus infleunzae and anemia.
