Abstract

Aims: To ascertain the health problems associated with certain work environments in Enugu in the
face of COVID 19 pandemic.
Study Design: Descriptive cross sectional survey design was used to observe the happenings to
workers in the study area.
Place and Duration of Study: The study was carried out in Enugu metropolis Nigeria, between May
2020 and August 2020.
Methodology: Questionnaires, personal interview and personal observation were adopted for the
collection of data. Descriptive statistics were used in the analysis of data.
Result: The current survey indicates that though some employers have put certain measures in place
to avert contacting corona virus, a lot of workers in different industries were seen not taking full
advantage of the provisions.
